Our Home Remodeling Process

Architectural Craftsmen takes a three-step approach to all our home remodeling projects.

Discovery

We’ll come tour your home, get to know you, and listen to your home renovation ideas.
We’ll talk about specific ways you currently use the spaces in your home, including what works and what doesn’t.
We’ll ask you to tell us about your investment goals.

Project Development

We’ll spend time documenting your home as-is. This gives us a starting point for the new architectural design.
We want to know your “need to haves,” your “nice to haves,” and your “pie-in-the-sky” wishes.
We use the information we collect to work on the new design and budget to align your wants and needs with your investment goals.

Construction

You’ll be able to interact 24/7 with our online project management tool, where all our documents, photos, budget, and communications are managed.
One of our certified lead carpenters will be on-site, managing the day-to-day progress of your project, while our remodeling project manager ensures everything stays on schedule and on budget.

Upon completion of construction, you’ll receive a one-year warranty on materials and workmanship, in addition to relevant product warranties.

At Architectural Craftsmen, we specialize in remodeling and renovating historic homes. For us, that’s any house built in the 1940s or earlier.
