Historic 1900s Roanoke Home Remodel

A 2014 REMY Remodel of the Year for Kitchen Remodels Over $120,000, this historic home in Kansas City found new life in original elements. Originally scoped to remove a stone wall hidden beneath plaster, this project took a new direction when the homeowners fell in love with the rustic look. When presented with the challenge of creating separate functional spaces for the kitchen, Architectural Craftsmen made it work, matching trim and style to the rest of the home with Mission-style cabinetry in red oak, thick granite countertops, and a hammered copper farmhouse sink. The white dining room buffet and wet bar give contrast to the overall design while providing extra storage. In the master bathroom, the vanity incorporates a farmhouse sink and misty gray paint for elegance all its own. Cut-out shelving for towels adds to the functionality of the design. Our exquisite attention to detail resulted in a timeless masterpiece that lends itself to a modern lifestyle.
