Mary Thompson, CR, CRPM, UDCP

Mary has satisfied all the requirements for designation as a Certified Remodeler, a Certified Remodeling Project Manager, and a Universal Design Certified Professional. She continues to stay current on industry trends and designs, business management, and building codes for her annual certification renewals.

Kelly Brandmeyer, CRPM

Kelly has been working as a project manager in the remodeling field for several years. She received her Certified Remodeling Project Manager designation after satisfying all the requirements for this designation in the spring of 2021. She is a master at using our project management program, Co-Construct.

Elliot Kane, CLC

Elliot manages our jobsite operations as a Certified Lead Carpenter. He satisfied all the requirements for this designation after just two years of working for us. He is excellent at organizing tasks and materials on the project and is a craftsman when it comes to the details.

Joe Thompson, Chief Field Operations

Joe has been in the building industry all his life. Raised on a farm, he learned all the hands-on skills that took him to Carpentry school, then on to Architecture school at Kansas State University. A degree in History and Philosophy of Science rounded out his background setting him up to establish Architectural Craftsmen.

Robert Mossey, Superintendent

Robert manages our jobsite operations as a Superintendent. He is excellent at keeping the project on schedule and managing priorities. He's a great problem solver if challenges arise. Robert is a highly skilled craftsman with trim carpentry, including stair, cabinet work, and other trim details.

Sarah Thompson, Administrative Assistant

Sarah wears many hats to support the entire team. She is our Safety Officer, providing safety training to our staff. She handles our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. She makes sure we are current on licensing and insurance. Sarah also coordinates the payroll and benefits for our team.

Andrew Thompson, Drafting/Designer

Andrew has grown up in the business, shadowing Joe in the field. He enjoyed studying Computer Aided Design (CAD) in school and has used those skills to work on the designs for our clients' projects. Working with Chief Architect, our design software, he is becoming an expert in architectural drawings.

Discovery Process

  • We'll come tour your home, get to know you and listen to your ideas.
  • We'll talk about specific ways you currently use the spaces in your home - what works and what doesn't.
  • It's important that we talk about your investment goals at this time, too.
  • All of this gives us the information we need to move into the Project Development phase.

Project Development

  • We'll spend some time documenting your home as-is. This gives us a start for the new design.
  • We want to know your "need to haves", your "nice to haves", and your "pie-in-the-sky"
  • With this information, we simultaneously work on the new design as well as the project budget. The sweet spot is where your wants and needs match your investment goals.
  • Now we're ready for the Construction Phase.

Construction Phase

  • We use an on-line project management tool where all our documents, photos, budget, and communications are managed. You will be able to interact with us 24/7 by using this tool.
  • One of our Certified Lead Carpenters will be on-site, managing all the day-to-day progress on your project, while our Certified Remodeling Project Manager will make sure everything is on schedule and on budget.
  • At the completion of your project, we move your project into the Warranty Phase. We offer a one-year warranty on materials and workmanship plus whatever product warranties apply.
