You may not find us working on a modern Craftsman house – but if you have an older one, we’re excited to help you.
Is Architectural Craftsmen the Right Fit for My Project?
If you’re the current or soon-to-be owner of an older property and dreaming up a large-scale renovation, the answer is yes! Architectural Craftsmen takes on a wide range of complex projects, including:

Architectural Craftsmen works on historic home remodels and additions, but doesn’t offer handyman- or single-contractor services. We’ll certainly provide them as part of a project, but we don’t perform this type of work on a one-off basis.
What Does Architectural Craftsmen’s Process Look Like?
Our historic home remodel process can be broken down into three phases: Discovery, Project Development, and Construction.

Discovery: When you first get in touch with our team, we’ll set up a complimentary on-site consultation. This gives us the opportunity to visit your home in person to determine the scope and feasibility of your project. During this time, we’ll listen carefully to your renovation ideas and discuss your investment goals in more detail. If we both agree on moving forward, we’ll begin the Project Development phase.

Project Development: This is when your historic home remodel really starts to take shape. The Architectural Craftsmen team will document your home’s as-is condition, taking photos and careful measurements of your space. Based on what we learned during the Discovery phase, we’ll draft a new design and budget that aligns with both your needs and personal preferences.

Construction: As soon as a finalized design is in place and your materials are selected, construction can begin. One of our certified lead carpenters will be on-site each day to oversee your project’s progress, and our remodeling project manager will ensure everything stays on track and within budget.
When your project is complete, you’ll have a one-year warranty on all materials and workmanship, along with any relevant product warranties.
